Happy people meet together to have some happy burial. The first thing i noticed about your new picture is the superb coloring. The only thing i don't understand is the sun-symbol, does it have a special meaning? Or do i missunderstand the whole picture?

"Rupert Dear... Now that you've killed your sister, don't you think its time to sharpened the edge of your shovel and started to hack away at passers by ??? it is tradition you know"
Dear God this is marvelous, how thrilled little Rupert parents must be for giving him such a valueable lesson. It makes me feel like my entire childhood was based on a false system of education, why didn't my parents teach me this?
Beautifully composed, the colors, tone, oh and that wonderful sun staring me in the face. Everything here fits together perfectly.
If Rupert only knew, one day this moment would be the focus of deep thought. And then he would realize...his parents knew nothing about burying dead people, or even killing them for that matter.
An intense design, Jess! The only thing that I can see that bothers me is that you didn't cut out the background in between Rupert's legs. Other than that there is only praise. The colors are so gorgeous that I didn't even know they existed until now. Amazing at the least. The textures are also amazing.
Rupert's daddy seems to be hiding something. Maybe his anger for the vulture who watches over the little lesson. He sees him out of the corner of his eye, but waits for it to make a move before he lets down his cheeky smile.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
